What I dreamt as I lay in bed

And simple thoughts coursed through my head

As I slowly drifted off to sleep

The kind of sleep that's really deep



I dreamt of chaos,madness, fear

Where meanings tend to not be clear

Anarchy, no rules to break

Nothing like when I'm awake



But this simple dream was my reality

And in there lies immortality

The ability to pass death by

The certainty that you won't die



True love has come to me from in my domain

A love that comes without a heart's pain

But I only see him as I sleep

And this is why I sleep so deep
