Baby, Write This Down
As Henley sang in PA
“This love, is like nothing I have ever known”
Rio sings in Texas “One more day”
Urban “but for the grace of God go I”
Thomas’ “if you’re gone” sings to me in all the States
Gaines in Wisconsin “snow in July”
Toby Keith’s “I’m so happy”
Creeds “my own prison”
Pinks’ “division bell”
Allisons “maybe”
All fit so well
Dogs eye views “everything falls apart”
Henley again with “heart of the matter”
Yanni makes my emotions pour from the start
Of “The Rain must fall”, one cannot be sadder
I remember your breath on the back of my neck
As you sang Straits “Baby write this down”
And how we clowned to Mombo number five
They all serve to remind this shipwreck…of a fool
“I hope you dance” is another reminder
Kravitz’s “Again” sings as if from my heart
The first time I heard this a different space in time
Loved you then as I do now this instant I find
These words…Baby write this down, I hope you dance, again, with me,
for this love, is like nothing I have ever known
