Today the gray sat upon my soul
Comfortably numb had become blue sad
With changes of the past serving to darken
I waited for the clouds to disappear
Prayed for them to lift
Even if for the anger
Yet there was not dissipation
Only wakes of trepidation
As I saw my eyes reflecting
Staring back at me, from my dark sunglass’
