Yesterday's Tommorow's

Your mind games have

left scars on the soul

bestowed them there as a prelude

to low as one can go

Shine won't shine

and words fail to rhyme

passion has died without a whimper

gone is the time

that others were kind

their smile now made up from simper

Cold season comes to replace the mad

leaves have left upon the ground their sad

as frost today has replaced the morning dew

Soon the snow will fall

and remembrance will recall

blizzards that have left your memory askew

And the days and nights to follow

will chagrin the dreams so hollow

for love dreams of contrasting melodies

so often haunt the heart with innocence and remembrance

of a distant time of yesterdays... and tomorrow's
