A Few Words Written

A few words written

Let others see into your soul

Troubled times and tribulations

Somehow rhymes with them that know

For the sentences of your life

From a chosen one will touch a few

When you share with ones that care

Seems they can relate to you

So sharpen your pencil

And throw down your soul

Word for word may you not hesitate

For times awaiting, hearts are breaking

They need to know that you can relate

Memorize the memories

As you often have in the past

Spill them out and write them down

Hurry, for these may be your last

For time waits for no one

And certainly not for you

So give it all and then some

Till the night turns to day anew

I think that this is a great poem. Keep writing because I have ran out of Your poems to read.

Nice poem. I understand the need to write down memories before we forget them...and hopefully, others can relate and understand. Good read, Dennis.

This is cute. A writer's effort in spilling it all out.
