Two Hundred Sixty Three Thousand Minutes

.

Two hundred sixty three thousand minutes have gone by

Since the last time I saw your face

Two hundred sixty three thousand minutes

I’ve spent away from you in this place

One Million Five hundred eighty one thousand seconds

When converted, falls short of the tears I’ve cried

A trillion zillion more I reckon

It will take before I live again inside

They say that time heals all pain

That you’ll always forget in time

Seems this was written by a fool, just the same

It does make a very good consoling line

For your everywhere,

You haunt me even at this instant as I write

I’ll never be able to forget what we shared

The love,

The loss,

The fate,

The cost,

Of us,

And our loves plight

I love your usage of numbers in this poem. Very cool play on words. Your style is interesting, makes me want to read more of your work(doing that right after I write this comment, hehe). Keep up the awesome work, and if you're interested in a poetry group I'll be starting up pretty soon here, please e-mail me and I'll send you further details.
