I am running out of time

To go back in time

To fix my past mistakes

To forgive 

Those who gave me so much pain 

And to this day show no remorse 

To show love

To the wounded 

Hurt by those they love

And left behind by those who said they cared

To love again 

Even though my heart is shattered 

By those who said they loved me

But left me all alone 

To be strong

Though my flame has been extinguished 

My bravery gone in the wind

And my pride killed by self-doubt
