twirling joyously
a new spring day
bursts into being

radiant pinks
breathtaking colors
too awesome to describe

flowers delicately unfurling
the new green of trees newly with leaf
smells that overwhelm the senses

an intricate web of gossamer
spun by nature's artist
with dewdrops sparkling like rarest jewels

birds decked in gorgeous array
bursting into symphony
unable to contain their joy

a taste of heaven
God gives us these perfect days
as wondrous gifts
hints of delights yet to come...
