is this you.....

where have the years gone?
So quickly they've flown by.

Yesterday you were young
with sparkling laughing eyes...

And me - I was the girl
with long blonde hair
and velvet thighs

We had the world at our fingertips
our dreams so bright and innocent,
none came to pass

We went our separate ways.
You left the state
I gained some weight.

Your eyes no longer laugh
and me - I'm in a 'chair.

We had such hopes and so much love
yet lost it all in a single move.
