Shhhh! Speak not a word
lest we be heard
and called back in
before we can sneak away
This love of ours oh so new
not ready yet to share
with all our friends
I gaze at you with awe
you look at me with wonder
when did this happen
when did we know
this miracle of love
granted to us from up above
to grant us this awesome gift
to cause our hearts to lift
and sing songs of joy
this girl, this boy
