Mama I wish you’d live forever 

See what becomes of me 

Mama I wish you’d be by my side for eternity 

Guide me with all your warmth 

And shield me from a cloudy day 

Mama I need your light to shed upon this dull and dark highway  

Mama teach me how Forgive and forget and have a peaceful mind

Please teach me how to be so kind, gracious and down to earth 

Mama you are my anchor you are my heaven on earth 

Mama I hope my kids will see in me what I see in you

I hope my husband will love me like my daddy loves you 

I hope that I’m strong enough to stand through all the storm 

I hope I am kind enough 

And have your pure soul 

Mama I’m glad that my heart is a part of yours 

Mama my life without you is the nightmare I fear the worse 

You are godsent from heaven down to earth 

You wiped every tear

Mama you’re everything from death to birth 

I love you so dearly 

You’re my heart and my soul
