You found her 

I hope you found peace with her 

Our fire burned 

So dangerously that it suffocated our love

I hurt your heart

You hurt my soul 

With words that shouldn’t have been said 

You are always on my mind 

But in yours I’m left behind 

there nothing more to be said and done 

We burnt all the roads as we flew closer to the sun

I hope she showers you with love 

I hope she puts you all above 

I hope she listens more 

Than the haunting past right outside your door

She is the better one 

I’m glad that I am gone

I would’ve hurt even more 

No matter what 

I will always love you 

I will always be to at the end of the hallway

When you miss me too

You know where to find me 

Even if it’s not meant to be 

You’re the one for me

I promised to love you for a thousand years 

I’ll keep my promise for a thousand more

Someday 

Maybe After forever and a day

We can restore the roads that we burned

And maybe then 

We’ll be okay
