You etched my name in stone 

And I etched your name in my heart 

The winds and waters removed my name 

But yours still remains

You wrote her name everywhere 

And I tried everything to remove yours

But ended up breaking my heart

And now you're with her 

And I’m left to grieve alone 

Please tell me what can I do 

If my heart is still yours 

I am trying to find someone 

To put my name in his heart 

But I can never look so far 

Now that your name is left to scar
