Well this has sort of been on my mind a bit, and felt that may be I should write it. The church I attend is very large and many people attend. They are actually planning to build a 10,000 seat building, cuz this church just keeps growing. Some people feel that cuz this pastor drives a nice car, has a half a million dollar house etc...that he is not in God's will or is disobeying him. Nothing could be further from the truth actually. All you have to do is look at his actions, look at his actual life and not his posessions. You can not judge him just cuz he is rich. What if he is taking that money and pouring it back into the church? What if he is taking it to help the needy? What if he is actually going out there talking to people, encouraging them and just living life?  Let me put it to you this way, if you had a 17 million dollar home? I am just saying this to paint a clear picture and that you would actually be able to get this. So could you imagine how enormous this house has to be and what it has for the price? Well in heaven believe me there is no single person on this earth that could afford a house that is in heaven. Never mind, because it isn't a house it is a mansion!! So our 17 million dollar house here on earth is PATHETIC compared to God's riches.  You have to judge by the pastor's actions, his morals, and what he does. God wants us to live well, and he wants the best for us. I can't count how many times I've heard "God wants his best" or "On earth as it is in heaven!"  Yep the bible says that, so what proof do you want? Colossians chapter 2 even explains about living for Christ and not to follow religion. Christ knows who you are, and if you trust him, following his standards then you're ok. Well of course you have to have faith in him, but colossians 2 explains so well that religious practices mean nothing, cuz they do not get you to heaven. Just because you listen to hymns and pray the Lord's prayer or some other words 50 gazillion times makes no difference! You're following your own standards and man made rules. God is unique and creative, so why are we saying that just cuz some pastor's are rich they are not following the bible? How about the 3 men in the bible who were given money to invest and make more? They all did make more, but the one guy burried it, cuz he was scared. He did not know what to do, so God took away that dollar from him and gave it to the man who made the most!! What does that say? I am just tired of some people bashing this church cuz their doctrine's are wrong! Well first attend the place, and see for yourself. Do not listen to gossip for even proverbs says gossip will ruin your life. Even if you do not do it yourself, but you listen in on it, and follow it you are still partaking in it.  I can't stand this how some people say this church is wrong. Look at the fruit it produces, look at the lives it impacts? Look at how many people are coming to know Christ? I see a church like this as a blessing cuz God wants us to grow, he doesn't want us to plateau! If you think about it does it even make sense that God would say yeah ok that's it for your life!! You do not need to grow sooo yeah cya when you get here!! NO that is not who God is or what this church is. Some people just hear the rumors that it's a cult or something.  They could not be further from the truth, and this church has caused me to become more bold. I've connected more with Christ here, and I have had my fear really decreased.  Anyways this is my tid bit here, and may be some people will think about it! Gossip is sickening, and I actually got into trouble the other day at work cuz of it!! I was convicted right on the spot, and I knew I was wrong. Let me say it taught me a lesson! Do not let anyone tell you a place or someone is wrong or bad until you've checked it out! Cuz I was told so many things before I went to Springs, and I couldn't find fault in the place. Now it doesn't mean there will not be slip ups, cuz every single church is never perfect. But I could feel the excitement in the place, and it's really amazing.  The pastor's message is amazing, and causes me to really think, and know where my faults are. This place has also shown me where my strengths are. God has really worked on me in this place, but I still have a ways to go. We will always be growing, and we will always be learning new things each and every day.  



Also let me just add this, being prosperous/rich doesn't only mean money. It has so much more than that aspect! It means the soul and attitude and love for others.
