I'm praying for her protection

Lord I pray that you would give her direction

Just lift her up on her days down

And I'm not sure anything is wrong

Just keep encouraging her when no one else is around



Hold her in your arms tonight

Show her that dreams do take flight

And I pray that she will find hope in you tonight

And that you will show her the value of her very life



Father I'm crying out that everything is ok

I pray that you would be her shoulder to cry on

When everyone seems so distant and far away

Let her know she is very special

And that you would show her truth

And that you would just heal all wounds



Hold her in your arms tonight

And let her know that she has no need to worry

You're there when she needs to cry

All I can do is pray on tonight

That you would protect her

And that everything would be made right
