Some kind of Sign
He kept sitting there ever so still
Praying to God, asking for his will
He asked God what the signs would be
He asked, what else do you have in store for me?
Now he's just trying to ignore
rebuke the feelings he's having
but he can't help but notice her
Wondering if God is the one responsible
wondering if it's God laying it all out on the table
So all he can do is pray
keeps on wondering what's going on?
Keeps on asking is she the one?
Come on Lord please give me some sign
An obvious sign she's not interested
But everything seems to be the opposite
and no obvious signs I've asked for over and over again
So that's when he just keeps on praying
Looking for answers to these questions cycling in his mind
Come on I just need some kind of sign
