As I'm here on the inside

I'm always thinking about

being part of your life

I'm always thinking, always dreaming

that we could be

dreaming of looking into your eyes

wondering what's going on in  your mind

Always wondering about the world on the other side

Some nights I feel I could cry

with all these walls around me

it's without you I feel so confined

I find the safety being locked in your eyes

I feel I can find my home through you

Can't wait to be free from these restrictions

that keep me from holding you

Author's Notes/Comments: 

Well I wrote it about a prison originally, but in a way you can look at it as yourself. Kind of like you're feeling restricted or weighed down, and you want to be free from emotions, but it's because of those emotions you fear that you are not sure you want to open up to that someone you really love. You could be scared of what that person may do or think etc.....
