I've always wondered what went on in your mind

When what happened that night,

I thought would change my life for the better

but then I realized when it was too late, that you were a liar



May be it was like a blessing in disguise

cuz thats when I really realized I needed God to be my guide

Coming back was a fresh awakening

A fresh awakening truly meant to be



Live in me, shine in me, set me free

I surrender all my human incapabilities

I surrender and seek forgiveness of peace

live in me, shine in me, set me free



I guess what got me, was someone actually loved me

what was lust I thought was love

what I thought was love was false

All I can do  is move on, and realize it was strictly a physical tie

and all mind games, with emotional lies

I move on to something better and let his light shine in me
