When the sounds of opportunity
vanquish all the twilight
and all that I could ever ask for
comes true in you tonight

In a world where ashes fall as rain would
there lies a truth, an inherent junction
without which there's no existing function

an unspoken bond of love and imagination
damned by expectations and irrationalities
shammed by others' drive to be
carbon copies -

photos cropped too lazily

Faux-self isn't enough

love requires the will to love -

the strength to move forward
the vision to look behind
and the wisdom to thrive today

this heartfelt journey is primary, primal,and true
but the map is never complete
through the pain we may weep

but we will persevere

because in the real gut check hour
we may discover more than we ever could have intended
we may be more than two as one.

This era is special

such an age of discovery

i cannot lose my spirit today
I cannot betray those Hazel eyes

yet I cannot repay them either

The bountiful gifts bestowed upon me
the joys in my life - future children and wife
job and my family

Honors earned through hard work and good fortune
overwhelming gratitude
sets my latitude, leave me on course

overjoyed.

Aware I can walk this road
equipped with the tools to persevere
confidence unearthed-

i have no oppression left to overpower me

blue skies, courage to excel

courage to be the one for we
 

i now can acquire purpose in this life-
i now can visualize a direction
i now have love
i now have hope
i now understand the colors of family

i am ready for tomorrow.
