What defines unique?

Color, shape, age?
Can a person be unique?
Can a personality be unique?

Better yet...can an emotion be unique?

Can love be unique?

Vital to nourish and acknowledge the true, tireless effort that goes into finding and generating love

Love is commitment; a life path shared vicariously, mutually
Love cannot be constructed feebly upon half-truths

There is no debate
love is undoubtedly noble, admirable, respect-driven, and something that is earned

and pain-staking to extinguish

Love is a wake up call, so jolting
it's hitting the snooze timer while dozing in each other's arms

Love can be as simple as fixing a leaky faucet

and as impossible as plugging Niagara Falls

Love is feeling uncomfortable

but knowing nowhere else you'd rather be

Love is every dream and fear you ever imagined

shared with another soul

as it turns out

as common as it is unique

As common as going the extra mile for *them*
and as unique as finding the only one willing to go that extra mile for *you*
