She lies all alone
Trying to remember her independence
Everything she once held dear
Just bitterly falls with her tears
Her cold words, have left her in pain
As she fades in the heart of precious wood
I will still remember everything she was
And everything she could
And all the pain she’s caused
She will never see the sweet things
That lie beyond her thoughts
She’s dying inside her depression
And she will never look beyond it
Colours will turn grey
Skies will turn black
Happiness in her imagination
Fantasies of perfection
But she loses herself in it
All she knows is these memories
Locked in her nightmares
She will never have what she wants
Because all she is now
Is a frightened little girl
Still playing with her dollhouse
As if it were the world
