Put the weight of your soul
Against the pillar of mine
And I will carry you, unyielding
For whatever needed time
I'll break every piece of me
Before I'll let you crack at all
I will shatter just to catch you
For I could never see you fall
And I issue out this warning
To all those who offer pain
If you threaten those around me
You'll never get the chance again
What is left of me's a weapon
All the rest was stripped away
By the tongues of shameful minds
So you can bet I'd love to play
I will tear the world asunder
To save a single falling tear
And rip the lungs from your chest
If you cause a cry I hear
For those I care about are family
Never lost or left behind
And I will risk my world to shield them
For they would do the same in kind.
