You shine faster then i can glow.
That leaves me here with nowhere to go.
i wish i could have seen the look on my face,
When i thought i was winning but in the back of the race.
Stuffed animals and darkness can't put me to sleep.
i need my medicine to kick in fast and deep.
If you ever see me happy, you should probably know.
It's just a mask, happiness isn't how i roll.
Like a turtle, i find much comfort in my shell.
What are memories other then broken dreams from Hell.
how is it that many of your poems connect with me so deeply? i've a story locked inside that i can't really tell, but it's my loss and my continuation of love wasted.
