The world I've ruled I've ruled alone

So few are there and are hardly 

shown

They come and go whenever they please 

And are never present when I'm on my knees

The two that are, are always near

But neither can listen and neither can fear

They'll stand beside me and watch me burn

And once I'm gone they'll never learn. 

That as I stood I did what I could

And never what others thought I should
