The Dragon travels across the land
His weakness represented by the crimson sand.
As the sun arches through the sky
He utters the words, "My time to die."
All alone, he is consumed by fear
His abandonment causes him to shed a tear
All who have cared; their time is past
How did he know comfort would not last?
Angry at the world, he is driven by hate
Because of this, he will never be great
The demons of the world he seeks to overtake
Failing miserably, he realizes his mistake.
Night has fallen; the moon is high
Blood gushes as emotions intensify
It wells up from inside; he begins to choke
A fitting end to life's cruel joke.
