Stop

Screaming stop stop stop.

As I see a hand come across my cheek

Screaming stop stop stop

as I see my love one sprain a leak.

A vision of red. A few broken bones

Being told that no one should know.

Feeling sadness all day

And pain all night

Constantly wondering what you did wrong.

Coming home the next night scared as could be

When on the floor seeing mommy.

Screaming stop stop stop

Thinking of good times of playing in the park

Screaming stop stop stop

That now is the start

Threatens are whispered through and through But I just want to hear I love you.

All I here is lies of how sorry he is.

Listening to mom constantly forgive.

So loving and caring is she

Constantly accepting back daddy

The love we share the laughs we have

When she holds me nothing is bad

One night I come home

And she’s on floor

Screaming stop, stop, stop

There I stand at the door

Screaming stop, stop, stop.
