Warm hued dreams have faded
Their now meaningless colors washed
To turn pale shades of gray
Hopelessly covered by frost
Loves soulful summer breezes
As soft as angels hair
Surrender to chilling winds of sorrow
Stilled by distance, overcome with despair
A bond once regarded as eternal
Sadly now is not
Grasped by the cold hand of fate
Love and happiness pay the highest cost
As one heart turns away
one heart is broken
and a destiny is lost
