This is a new year,

So this means,

I'm one step closer,

To something bigger than this place,

I was in the childhood,

And I loved it,

I guess they were right,

Nothing in this world lasts forever,

Forced into exile by experiences,

I never wished for,

But I've picked myself up since then,

I'm just a little older and much wiser,

This is a new year,

A year for a new life,

For new experiences,

For self discovery,

My new agenda is set.
