In spite of my better insticts,

I want to take a chance again,

I'll fill my heart with hopes,

I'll put a little faith into it,

It's time I explore further,

One small step for love,

And one giant leap (hopefully) into your arms,

Yes, I might fail,

But I find it better than the alternative,

Whether you're just a dream or reality,

Whether you love me, or love me not,

I'm putting one foot forward right after the other,

And if I don't find you,

At least I know I tried.
