For once it’s over its gone forever

Remember it

Cherish it

Look back on it and smile

But don’t dwell on it

To do so will consume you

I now agree with you

So now you can be the gracious winner

I’ve given up on you

As I have given up on myself

You were right I’m just like you and

I can’t get mad when we’re both the same

I’m done banging my head on the brick wall for now

And no, girls aren’t always right

The pain will eventually recede

Life does go on

As must you

I will miss you

And the time we spent together

Talking the hours away…
