Everything they want me to be
With a remodel like you
I’ll never get to be me
The people’s expectations
I’m afraid I’ll never meet
My head hung low
As I walk the streets
The pain in my eyes
You never seem to see
Why can’t people just let me be meh
My eyes threatening to overflow with tears
Because I’m sacred you’ll leave
And terrified you’ll stay here
