Our Cimmerian World
Only misery,
It is not
As you will see,
Happiness I find in this world,
And it will never be
Just pain and hurt,
It is not soley
Lies, but I found truth
I cannot find.
You should stop looking, for
What you'll never find.
A surrender is
The only solution.
Empathy, teamwork, and respect is
Foolish to believe in.
Destruction and hopelessness is
Completely inevitble.
Change for the better is
Nearly impossible
And darkness becomes
A commonplace
When light begins to be
Disappearing into the past.
Our Cimmerian world is
All we know.
Happiness once and for all will be
Unable to bloom
And nefarious times will be
The cause of our doom.
Maybe horrible things won't be
Perpetual and then
Good times will be
If we turn things around,
And maybe, just maybe,
Things will better,
If we go UP INSTEAD OF DOWN.
