Ever since I was a child,
You were patient when I was wild.
Wherever I walked,
You were right behind..
Forever patient,
And always kind.
If you hadn't been that way,
I wouldn't be who I am today.
Author's Notes/Comments:
This poem is not really from the heart at all. It was an assignment I was given.. I was supposed to write a nice poem for my mother, for mother's day. My mother and I never really got along, .. so, for this poem,I just threw a bunch of words together, without thinking, and voila.. Mother's day poem.
