My father´s cars

My father loves his cars each and every one them since the first one he bought. His first car wasn’t a nice car, when he was 16 years old he bought an old Volkswagen “Caribe”, this is a small car like a “Pointer” or a “Chevy”, and is one of the most insecure cars ever created. The car was really messed up, it has no seats and no seatbelts, half of the board was missed, and it doesn’t had any upholstery on the roof, literally it was a pace of lamina with four tires and a wheel. Before he bought it, the car belonged to butchery and they used it to move fresh meat and pork lard so it smell really bad, but he could stand it because that car was really special for him. My Father started fixing that car and buying all the pieces to leave it as new, he spend a lot of time on the trash car lots finding the missed parts, and in a couple of years he could show off his car. He had that Caribe for about 5 years. After that special car, he bought several others, but he haven’t told a lot about them, the only thing I´m sure about is that he took care of all of them as he did with the first one. He want them to look always as recently taken out from the dealership, so he doesn’t paste them any kind of stickers, he doesn’t let anyone to eat or smoke inside his cars, he fix every little scratch or mark that appear on the door or the hood and he is always waiting to do them the next periodic service. Now he has a pick-up that loves as much as all the other cars, it is a white Dodge “Dakota” and he has it since 2006. The truck has almost 8 years and his best characteristic is something that almost all the woman in the world would like to have, it looks about 6 years younger. One of the things I love about my father´s habit of having his cars looking always as brand new, is that when I want to go out on weekends and I use his pick-up, it is perfectly cleaned and with the gasoline at full. Maybe when I get my own car I will do the same he did, because one thing that says something about your personality is the state in which you keep your car.
