Not so long ago, in a planet called Earth our gods decided to create all kinds of different creatures to complement Earth’s beauty. They created animals for all type of environments. Since they noticed that animals didn’t interact with animals of other kinds, they decided to create another kind of creature that differed from the others and could live in all type of environments. To build union between them, the Gods gave these creatures a special gift called intelligence. They named these creatures Human Beings. Using their intelligence, Humans discovered a way to communicate with all animals. Now, all animals could interact and get along. The Gods thought of the Earth as the perfect creation. All animals lived in harmony and its beautiful trees, lakes, oceans and rivers where the perfect home for them. Time passed, and everything seemed to be going perfectly. The Gods trusted Humans’ capacity to maintain things as good as they were, so they started to focus on new projects. They left the Earth in Human hands thinking that everything would be alright. After lots of centuries of peace and harmony in the world, the most intelligent specie realize, that without the Gods´ supervision, breaking laws or imposing others would not bring any bad consequences and everything in the world started to change. Humans forced other animals to do very hard jobs, they keep them locked in crowded and dirty areas, and all the marvelous food and the incredible habitats, were no longer available for anyone other than Human kind. The rest of the species that were not being exposed, were either with the humans or against them, and the so called perfect creation of the Gods began to fade. As time passed, the boundaries between species became stronger, and all of Earth’s habitants started to think that the battle would never end. And so they lived for a long time, until a brave specie called Eagle, started to speak up. “We can’t just stand by and do nothing about it,” said the eagle to the other unfortunate species. “Don’t you guys remember the good old days? When no one ruled us but our Gods and everyone lived as they pleased?”. A lot of animals started to agree and were starting to get exited thinking about the idea of freedom once again. Others though, were scared and preferred not to turn their backs on the Humans. So the leading Eagle and the rest of the fearless animals started to plan a way to decrease Human power. They all agreed on the fact that the Eagle was the one who could fly the highest, and the only one that could possibly reach the Gods and ask for help. So the Eagle decided to try and fly as high as it could. It was a Sunday afternoon and the sky was perfectly clear. The sunrays trespassed the white pale clouds and the wind was perfect for flying. The Eagle flew for weeks and weeks. The animals were anxious to know how the mission was resulting. After 3 weeks, the Gods started to notice something strange, they had never seen a bird of their creation flying so high. There was certainly something going on. The Eagle kept flying around and when it noticed that it had captured the Gods’ attention, he started to lead them to where the Humans were. The Gods could not believe what they were seeing. Their perfect creation had turned into a world full of envy, hate, and other horrifying things. Their anger and disappointment was so big, that it started to produce natural disasters. Hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes, and all sorts of things started to fill the Earth. The sky turned black on a bright summer day. The surface started to brake. Trees where falling down, and fire came out when they touched the ground. And the Gods’ perfect creation was no longer alive. Many Humans and animals started to disappear. Only the ones free of sin were able to survive.
