Dilemma

I am waiting…

The monitors are changing their faces

Like the people passing me by.

Hand-bags, back-packs, suitcases, you name it

Are crowding the space even more.

Here I am… It’s my gate.

Now what?

Already saw the same chain of still looks twice.

I hurried to hide my anticipation

Under that unoccupied chair for me.

Following the motion of the waiting area

I mimicked the face of the man on my left.

Time stops.

The monitor froze- delayed!

Can’t sit anymore on the thought:

Do I really want to go?

Am I afraid if I can hold my eyes in yours for longer?

Every time I try to hide in them,

You see straight through me.

For your every question

My face lines up in perfect answer

And always gives me away.

May be I should stay?

The ticket that you sent me

Loses shape and ink,

Suffocated by the tide grip of my hands.

My face, confused on dilemma

Searches for the answer

Hanged on my feelings,

Tested by the hour.

Accumulated time

Brings people and carryon in to a fine line.

I closed my eyes to see you better.

“We’ll be alright, we’ll be together”

You look at me with calming smile

That caught my eyes with yours

Reassured, there I can stay… forever!

I give my ticket

And I go…
