Jimmy is a homeless kid that lives in the streets stealing food from the super markets. The reason why he hasn’t been caught is because he is really fast. Because he has been doing this for many years, he barely gets tired and he can run long distances. One day he was doing his morning routine, running through the store and stealing his breakfast. Jack, that is a professional American football coach, was buying his daily coffee at the same store when he saw Jimmy running with a small watermelon in his hand. He was dodging all the guards as if they were nothing. Jack followed Jimmy for a really long distance until Jimmy stopped at an alley to eat the watermelon. Jack approached Jimmy and when Jimmy was about to run Jack said, “stop, stop, I just want to talk to you”. Jimmy stayed still staring at Jack suspiciously.

-Hey, what’s your name? -

-Jimmy-

-Where are your parents-

-I don’t know, they left me when I was a baby. -

- Why did you still the watermelon-

-Because that’s the only way I can get food-

-Have you ever heard about American football-

-No, what’s that-

-It’s a sport that requires someone as fast as you. Are you interested? If you come with me you wont have to worry about food anymore.

Jimmy stood still looking at Jack for a few seconds and he nod with his head agreeing to the offer.

The next day he met with Jack at the local football field. Jimmy did some football drills and he made record times. Everyone was amazed. Jack grabbed his phone and quickly called the coach of the university team. When the coach saw what Jimmy was capable of, he was amazed. Jimmy ran, skipped and jumped like a professional player. After seeing a few more practice sessions he offered Jimmy a deal.

-If you win the championship with Jack’s local team, I will give you a full scholarship that gives you everything you need. Food, residence, books and full tuition.-

-Of course, I accept the offer, this is great, I always wanted to study. -

the tournament started and it was time for Jimmy to prove what he is made of. The first play, he received the ball and he started running. Two defenders where going to tackle him, but he dodged them like he did the guards at the supermarket. He made his first touchdown. The team continued to win all the games and they won the championship. As the coach promised, Jimmy was given a full scholarship at the local university and he continued to win titles for the university team.
