for you I would end up being nothing more 
or less than a strain
you'd love me one day and hate me the next
I'd make you laugh then turn around and make you cry

I guess there's no sense in aspiring over something 
that simply is not our fate

an blame it on destiny

I can see it in your eye's you've found a new source
of love but your loyalty is eating you up inside
so let me help you one more time
sometimes things are meant to be left before 
they are broken and shattered.
and out of sincere love and nothing more
I'm walking away

don't ever let anyone tell you my feeling's for you 
never mattered.
It is because of my love,hope an wishes for you 
that I do what I do

never doubt that my feelings or promises were ever untrue 
I would never intentionally hurt you or hold your heart captive 
when I knew it wished to be set free. 
as sad as it is for me 
your one plus one was never meant to be my three
love is sometimes selfish 
love is sometimes cruel.
but it is always pure
and I'll always love you

cherish the memories as I do even if it's seen through the tears
and remember 
something that once made you happy should never be forgotten
