ashamed because words
only diminish them
words shrink from the feelings
what seemed so limitless
when they were in your mind
afraid your revelations of love
will be looked upon as a map
to to a chest full of secret feelings
no one will understand
looking at you funny as to ask why
why you thought it was so important
that you cried while you were writing it
the ink blurring from the tears
as they both dry
reasons of love have seasons
of when to be told
and I cry
for in my fears of the words to say
or not to say
I missed my time
