they say that Romeo and Juliet was greatest
story ever told about love , an it's travesty
I don't agree because our romance tops the list
of all time travesties

chapter one will make you smile, as you cheer on
the young lovers as they make their mistakes
as the story continues on there will be tears
in your eyes , while we listen to other peoples lies
and your screaming Why?

the next chapter will be a mystery
where I walked away never saying goodbye
you can hide from the world , but you cannot
forget the feelings buried deep inside
memories of that one true love
that will haunt you every night

the truth as you know it , can also be someone
else's lies, jealousies coming from ignorant minds
in desperation they try to kill what they cannot
understand ,

there's no amount of distance's in this world
no amount of pain or differences in our many
opinion's that can break our loyalties to
the ones we love

I die a little more inside each night as I
sit here alone knowing that
You can't unsay words that were never said
an you can't undo what was never done

the one regret that I'll take to the grave
we thought we would be together forever
an making love was not a game
we were waiting for that special time
that special place
we had no clue fate would intervene

I know now what I didn't then
I would trade all the moments in life
that I have left
for one special night
one special place
one special time
that would complete whats missing in my life

the travesty
our loyalties to the ones we love
our loyalties to each other
will never let it happen

I don't even bother to wipe away the tears
anymore
