Oh what the Hell ............ Merry Christmas To All An To All A Good night
trapped somewhere between coming from and traveling to an elsewhere
for years now on christmas mornings
I wake to the realization her side of the bed is still cold and empty
the stocking is filled with the remnants of yesterdays
heartaches and tears
in a box wrapped carefully hidden under the tree
is the scratching on raped paper
the charcoal words with raven wings romancing the mysteries found in loss and farewells...
left with the yearning of disappearing dreams and the distances
growing with each word
the pain and the anger, the love that refuses to die
emotions inside are sometimes too much for a person to hide
on the edge of the world, with no where to turn
I stare into the unknown
forever alone
