with a broken trust 
the scars will remain forever
you can forgive but never forget 
a broken promise is unrepairable
a broken heart never heals to be the same
three little words will never again mean anything
of precious memories an' everything I thought to be truth 
shattered before me as she said those words 
"I don't love you, I used to, I just don't anymore."
I tried my damndest to hold back my tears as 
I watched her drive away but it was to no avail 
its been years and my pillow is still damp with the tears 
that flow in the darkest parts of the night
if this sounds a little off its cause my memory is shaky and my dreams aren’t what they used to be
but what I’m about to tell you is the truth from my eyes, ears, and flesh. I remember being someone once that someone wanted
and I remember being loved 
I remember loving someone with all my heart
but a broken promise is unrepairable
you can forgive but never forget
