they say through the shadows of every corner
lies the promise of tomorrow
I hear their words with a silent pain you'll never feel,
till you have a broken heart, that'll never heal
try as I may I just don't believe
I'm scared that in the end of my life
when the credits roll by
they will read like a shakespearean tragedy
an with the last blink of my eye's
it'll be her face that crosses my mind
