standing alone in the rain

feeling each drop fall gently on my skin

thinking back to the days before now

when everything was simple

i try to remember exactly how i felt

exactly how you looked

and exactly how your kiss tasted

i try harder... try to remember

forcing myself to think harder

and still... i have nothing

i have lost it

just like i lost you... so long ago
