i feel your eyes upon me

tearing me apart

thought by thought

dream by dream

fear by fear

you can't accept me as i am

i'm no longer what you want

before you couldnt leave me

said so often that you loved me

now you can't wait to get away

and that word doesn't dare to be spoken

no longer so precious as before

our world once so perfect

is now scarred and forever flawed
