WARRIOR
Each day, I stand to my feet
proud and tall like a soldier
of war, Never knowing when
I'll die, having people feeling my body get colder.
Pains of this world attack
me, hoping I will fall
easily, I am a mighty warrior
who's name will echo when called.
Trials and tribulations stand
in my way, as I battle my way
through them. Sometimes it
seems that this will be my last day.
Sex, drugs,abuse, molestation,
murder, rape, abortion, robbery,
prostitution, assault, arson, grand theft,
breaking and entering on private property.
My enemies have grown and vary
in size, but even as their number
grows, I am a warrior with pride,
a warrior who puts these things into slumber.
