A writer is born

He sat in his chair with pen and paper,

Writing his heart on the sheet,

Giving every word the emotions he had,

Just to make the world suffer his defeat.

The words were lively and warmed many hearts,

Just like a fresh cup of coffee on a Sunday Evening,

When you read it silently to yourself,

You will feel exactly what he's feeling.

Pirates and war fill the page,

As he tries to put you into adventure,

He brings comedy to you everytime,

You hear about his grandma, and her set of dentures.

Can you see the world i9n his eyes,

If you could yyou would understand,

Why it is he chooses to write,

While holding a helpless childs hand.

Caring for the world, seeing what is wrong,

Trying to bring it peace,

Standing in gront of a bullet that races,

Just so violence will cease.

He's not a perfect man but he tries,

To do what he can for others,

So if you ever need anything,

Just call him, or call his mother.

This is a story of a man I know,

Cause his heart lives inside of me,

It was the spirit that blessed his soul,

And now this soul is Tommy.

Author's Notes/Comments:

This is not a conceded poem. It just shows how I feel about writing.

Great poem. Having such a desire to write is wonderful. I used to be the same way, but unfortunately, I've lost that and it's my fault. Never lose that passion to write! You're great, remember that.
