Hazel green eyes give
A silent glare
Into the very depths of my being
Once a sign of love
Now but a falling confidence
A pain too deep to be remembered
One moon has changed and past
Since that spontaneous finality
And since have I been
An unashamed balloon
Flying high through transcendent clouds
But that muted regard
Like a lackadaisical rain
It pulled me to the ground
Popping me and releasing all my air
So here I sit,
Architecture in my classroom
Not free and jovial as believed
But rather dazed and slightly confused
Lost and unsure
Enthralled by your being
A crazed hopeless romantic
Confined within a world
Without romance
