You ask me what's wrong and look into my eyes

I stare back at you

How could I explain this feeling inside

Wanting everything in the world

But yet not wanting to lose a single thing

I know gain comes with sacrifice

But I've worked for what I have

Still I feel like I have nothing

No matter how many words you speak

I cannot believe everything you say

The actions do not confirm your thoughts

I ask for anything under the moon

For the moon I already have

Yet that is the one gift you give

Over and over and over again

Give me something simple, something delicate

Straight from the heart

What am I asking for?

The dirt, the flowers, the life

Anything and everything all at once

Because I'm hard to understand

But all in all, I just want you.
