Reminiscence 10-7

Folder:
2005

I started out bored and began to read

Not knowing it was I your words would feed

They spoke through my mind

Those words so very kind

And reminded me of how we agreed

We said that we'd always be there

But now you've vanished to thin air

One day we spoke, the next we did not

It's not like we ever fought

But neither of us seems to care

The thoughts of course brings sorrow

But only something that we borrow

The next minute it is gone

Using feelings as a pawn

Knowing nothing will be there tomorrow

Sometimes I wish something had happened

You were my very best friend

I could tell you everything

You were hardly offended by anything

Those thoughts have come to an end

Now if we speak, argument ensues

Leaving but a light bruise

How could this occur?

No idea, it's all a blur

A mix of beautiful hues

Until another day arrives

We will separate from each other's lives

Slowly slipping out of grasp

And my arm you will not clasp

The both of us will survive

Author's Notes/Comments:

You know, it's really true. I sometimes wish something would have happened, but I know there is no way we could go back to that stage. Our chance is past, and now we hardly know each other, let it go.
